Prof. Hem Raj Subedee, PhD

With more than three decades of involvement in academic field, Dr. Subedee has been the Professor of Political Science at Tribhuvan University since 2012, and the Campus Chief of Saraswoti Multiple Campus since 2006 until 2009. Dr. Subedee received his PhD degree in Political Science from Banaras Hindu University, India. Dr. Subedee has published about half a dozen books with dozens of publication at national and international journals, and is currently program Coordinator at Department of Conflict, Peace and Development Studies. Dr. Subedee is also a public director of Bank of Kathmandu Ltd. since 2010 and independent director of NLG Insurance Company since 2009. Dr. Subedee also serves as district cabinet secretary of Lions Clubs International district 325B1 since 2013.

 

Dr. Gajananda Prakash Bhandari 

Medical doctor by profession, Dr. Bhandari completed his MPH degree from prince Leopold Institute Tropical Medicine, Belgium supported by DGD Fellowship and MD from B. P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Nepal supported by University scholarship.  Presently, he serves at SAARC Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS centre as an epidemiologist since 2014. Prior to it, Dr. Bhandari was program director at Nepal Public Health Foundaion for 2011-2013 term and senior epidemiologists at Nepal Health Research Council for 2009-2011 term. With dozens of publications at national and internationals journals, Dr. Bhandari is an experienced public health expert who has demonstrated leadership strengths to manage multiple responsibilities to complete projects at highest standard. 

 

Dr. Sushila Chatterjee (Nepali)

Dr. Chatterjee who holds a Phd degree in forestry from IOF, Pokhara and is currently Chief Executive Officer at Bird Conservaion Nepal. She is also a faculty member of Kathmandu Forestry College since 2012. Prior to 2012, Dr. Chatterjee holds numerous positions at various organizations such as funding and resource mobilization coordinator at LWF Nepal, Senior Program Officer and Project Co-Manager at WWF Nepal, assistant co-coordinator at ICIMOD, Nepal, Forest Technician at United Mission to Nepal etc. Dr. Chatterjee also won Prestigious NORAD, NORAGERIC fellowship for her M.Sc degree in Norway and Shri Aishwarya Scholarship to study I.Sc. in Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Additionally, she also won women in conservation award in 2002 from WWF US.

 

Ram Prasad Khanal

Social worker by profession, Khanal is a graduate holder of business administration degree. Additionally, he also holds a masters degree in sociology. Khanal is a senior program manager at National level NGO, named Mountain Resource Management Group since 1999. Khanal has actively participated in training and seminars such as on irrigation policies, environmental issues, conflict management and campaigns on various issues such as health, sanitation and education. Moreover, Khanal has served as President of Lions Club International; Lions club of Gulmi for 2011/12 term and Vice President of Integrated Initiative for Social Transformation (IIST). Having Bachelors degree in Law from Tribhuvan University, Khanal is also member of Nepal Bar association.


 

 

Yam Chaulagain

Grabbed esteemed titles such as National Journalist Award in 2012 and Best Seller Writer Award in 2013, Yam exhibits a versatile character in different fields such as media, journalism, and research. With half-a dozen books and dozens of research articles already to his name, Yam is currently associated with Shanker Dev Campus as a Lecturer of Research Methodology at the Masters level. Having worked as a faculty member for various reputed colleges such as Shanker Dev Campus, St. Xavier’s College, Active Academy College in the past, he is a present faculty member of HRM for MBA students in Uniglobe College. A graduate and distinction holder from University of Warsaw, Yam is also the winner of prestigious scholarship for different programs funded by Erasmus Mundus, United Sates Institute of Peace and United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
